Plainwell @ Paw PawBoth teams are unbeaten in the Wolverine East. This has the makings of an entertaining, physical game, with college-sized bangers, and offensive playmakers. Paw Paw’s Jack Jennings is as big and talented as any linebacker in the Lake Michigan area, and is also his team’s second leading receiver. Also looking the part for sure is Plainwell’s TE/LB Tyler White is thus far the Lake’s only Big Ten recruit for the 2013 class.
Plainwell is dangerous on the ground with numerous threats — senior QB Grant Pell, junior tailback Ryan Britton and senior fullback Anthony Davis. Britton has run for 728 yards and six TDs, Pell 617 and six. Plainwell’s defensive strength is its linebacking core, with senior Jason McCauslin the leading tackler and great size on the outside with White and Chance Terry.
While Pell is a running QB, Paw Paw’s Justin McCauley is a legit dual threat. He’s thrown for 1,062 yards and nine TDs, and run for 659 and 10.
