Grand Rapids fan here, but no stranger to the SMAC football… While I can see that the schedule has been very favorable for BC Lakeview, I can’t believe that at 6-0, and just this past weekend gave up their first points of the season, they don’t even break your top ten for Division 2… Blatant disrespect. While I agree that the Spartans would be lucky to make it out of districts, the same could be said for half the teams you have listed in your top ten… Lakeview belongs ahead of PN (smoked by PC 49-7), Northview (beaten badly by Cedar 28-0), TC Central (3 losses to unranked opponents), and Ottawa (shutout by Wayland 26-0)…

      We don’t cover Battle Creek or any other SMAC East team sans Loy-Norrix.

  2. north Muskegon is Div 5 not 7 They ar e a coop with West Michigan Christian.
