2013 “Best of the Best” Football Combine Tour

Calling all college football prospects from the classes of 2014, 2015, 2016! For the first time ever, the Lake Michigan Football Report will be hitting the road in search of the state’s best football players with the 2013 “Best of the Best” Football Combine Tour sponsored by Buffalo Wild Wings.  The tour, slated to kick-off in Grand Rapids on July 8th, will also feature stops in Northern Michigan, Big Rapids, Mid Michigan, and Southwest Michigan. Players at each stop will compete in combine testing, position-specific drills, and one-on-ones — all with the opportunity to be named the “Best of the Best.”

The Lake’s expert scouting staff will be on-hand at each stop to chronicle breakout performers and top prospects for the LakeMichiganFootballReport.com. Local media will also be involved as each stop provides an exciting community-oriented experience for players, coaches, and fans.

ALL testing results will be made available to Division I, II, III & NAIA college coaches. The Lake Michigan Football Report has built strong relationships with college coaches in the MIAA, GLIAC, Missouri Valley, Ivy League, MAC, ACC, Big Ten, Big East, SEC, PAC-12, Big 12, and the University of Notre Dame!

2013 “Best of the Best” Football Combine Tour Dates:

July 8, 2013 — Grand Rapids @ GR Christian HS

July 9, 2013 — True North @ Cheboygan HS

July 10, 2013 — North Central Michigan @ Big Rapids HS

July 12, 2013 — Mid Michigan @ Ithaca HS

July 15 , 2013 — Southwest Michigan @ Stevensville-Lakeshore HS (Event will be held from 7:00-9:00PM)

EVENT SCHEDULE

Each event will keep the same schedule, except the Stevensville-Lakeshore event which will go from 7:00-9:00pm. Registration begins at 5:00PM. Players will take the field at 6:00PM.

5:00 – 5:55 PM    Player Registration

6:00 – 7:00 PM   Dynamic Warm-Up & Combine Testing

7:00 – 7:20 PM    Position Drills

7:20 – 7:50 PM    One-on-Ones

7:50 – 8:00 PM    Camp Wrap-Up

Participant waiver (signed by parent/guardian if player is under 18), helmet (for linemen only), tennis shoes, football cleats, water/sports drink, and comfortable workout clothes. Please check your email within 48 hours of the event to download, print & sign your waiver.

COMBINE COST

$65 + $3 online convenience fee. Walk-up registration will be available on the day of each event for $65, but online registration is strongly encouraged.

CANCELLATION / REFUND POLICY

We understand that schedule conflicts or unforeseen injuries may sometimes prevent players from attending our events after they have registered.  In the event that you cannot attend, you can request that you your payment be applied to a future event should. Please email us at LakeMichiganFootballReport@gmail.com in order to arrange this if you are unable to attend as scheduled. Refunds will not be available. All events are outdoors and happen rain or shine (subject to lightning delays if applicable).

      Helmets are only required for linemen.

      40 yd dash, pro-agility shuttle, bench or med-ball toss, and vertical jump

  5. Will the combine be testing bench or will it be med ball toss?

      Absolutely. The event is open to all student-athletes regardless of hometown/home state. We have some players and college coaches coming from Indiana/Illinois.

  9. Are you still doing the combine at Oakridge on July 11th? I noticed it was not on here anymore.
